There were moments I stepped away,

moments I questioned it,

moments I let it breathe unfinished.

Each break changed my way of seeing it.

Each return revealed something new.

The fluid background holds movement, chaos, and time.

The figure carries stillness, patience, and becoming.

This work grew the way we do —

not in certainty, but in transformation.

And maybe that is the process of all becoming:

trusting what we are,

while staying open to what we may be.
