"Welcome to wonderdeeartworks's Portrait Painting Services!

At wonderdeeartworks, I specialise in creating custom portrait paintings that capture the essence and personality of our subjects. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for artistry, I will transform your favourite photos into timeless works of art that you'll cherish for years to come.

You can commission a portrait of a loved one, a beloved pet, or a special moment, i will work closely with you to ensure that every brushstroke reflects the true spirit of the subject.

With a diverse portfolio showcasing a range of styles and subjects, i am confident that I can bring your vision to life.

The process is simple: Just follow the steps below and I'll guide you through:

1. Step 1 (Photo/resource)

Every portrait begins with understanding the person behind the image. You can choose one of two options:

Option 1 – Work from Your Photo

Send me a high-resolution photograph with good lighting and clear details. Together, we will discuss your vision, preferred size, color palette, and style before I begin creating your painting.

Option 2 – Private Portrait Experience (Recommended)

Visit my studio for a private portrait session (approximately 2 hours).

During your visit, we will:

Discuss your ideas and the mood of the artwork.
Explore different poses, expressions, clothing, and lighting.
Create reference photographs during the session that will serve as the foundation for your portrait.

After the session, I carefully select the most suitable reference images and continue the painting in my studio. This allows me to create a portrait with greater authenticity, character, and artistic depth than can usually be achieved from a single photograph.

2. Step 2 (Size and Price)

Use the chart below to help you chose your preferred painting size, if you're unsure what size would work best, just contact me and I can help you. Sizes other than those listed are available and can be quoted upon request.

This price chart is for per head and without any combination with acrylic pouring.

I can make a background and 'frame' with the acrylic pouring art with the colors of your choice, before I begin your portrait painting. This process generally applies to all kind of portraits commissions.

4. Step 4 Book a space by placing a deposit

Once we're ready to begin on your painting, I ask for a A 30% deposit to secure a place on my waiting list. I work on a first come first served basis, so my client painting list is in order of bookings taken. I will give you a start/finish date for your painting when initial contact is made. Clients outside of Germany can pay via online bank transfer payment (preferred method), or credit/debit card. Clients visiting my studio can pay paypal or cash.

5. Step 5 Painting process

As I paint your commission I'll email you through photographs of my progress at various stages, this way you can see how your painting is coming along. It's always easier to make any changes at these earlier stages if there's something you'd like adjusted.

6. Step 6 Time frame

Your painting will take approximately 3 - 6 weeks to paint, which includes drying and varnishing time. The start date is dependent on my work load at the time, but I'll let you know this when you first enquire.

7.  Step 7 Framing

All commissioned paintings are sold unframed. However, if you'd like your painting framed, I will use a simple one

8. Step 8  Final payment

Once your painting has been finished, any adjustments you requested have been made, and you are completely happy with the results, I will email you a final invoice for the remaining balance.

9. Step 9 Delivery of your artwork

Postage & packaging on all commissions is included in the price for delivery in Germany. International postage prices will need to be quoted individually though, according to size and destination location. Framed paintings will incur a additional postage and packing charge due to the extra weigh and size associated.

10. Step 10 Feedback from you :-)

It's always nice to see photographs of my clients with their finished paintings. This stage isn't necessary of course, but should you like to email me through a photograph of yourself with your painting, with your permission, I may add these to my client testimonials page.

Every portrait is individually created—no prints, no AI-generated images, and no reproductions. Each painting is a unique work of art made especially for you or your loved one.
